What your annual plan covers

  • Keep your foreign-account information current, with check-ins and reminders through the year
  • Upload statements or add accounts yourself; FBAR Guard pulls out the account details for you to confirm
  • Annual maximum values calculated and converted to U.S. dollars
  • Your FBAR prepared for you to review, sign and submit
  • Your FBAR records and filing history kept together

Need an earlier year’s FBAR too?

An earlier reporting year can be added as a one-time service. It isn’t part of the annual plan.

Questions

How the annual plan works

What does my annual subscription cover?

One annual plan covers one FBAR reporting year. For that year, FBAR Guard helps keep your foreign-account information current, calculates annual maximum values, handles the required currency conversion, prepares your FBAR information for review and keeps your FBAR records organised. The plan includes up to 25 foreign accounts per person.

When is my FBAR prepared?

After the reporting year ends. A 2026 Annual Plan, for example, covers your 2026 foreign accounts and the 2026 FBAR prepared for submission in 2027.

What if I also need to prepare last year’s FBAR?

An earlier reporting year can be added as a one-time service. For example, if you start a 2026 Annual Plan and still need a 2025 FBAR, you can add 2025 separately. Prior-year preparation is not automatically included in the annual plan.

Can I start my annual subscription with a prior year instead?

Not at this time. The annual plan is designed around the current reporting year. An earlier FBAR can be added separately as a one-time service.

What happens when my annual plan renews?

Your annual service continues into the next FBAR reporting year. Account information, filing history and relevant FBAR records carry forward instead of starting again from scratch.

What happens to my previous FBAR records?

While your annual plan remains active, FBAR Guard keeps supported filing history and relevant FBAR records organised across the applicable recordkeeping period. This can include confirmed account information, annual maximum values, prepared FBAR records and related filing evidence.

What if I cancel?

After your subscription ends, your FBAR records remain available online for 90 days so you can download them. After that 90-day period, customer-facing access ends and data may be deleted in accordance with the Terms and Privacy Notice, unless FBAR Guard has another lawful reason to retain particular information. You remain responsible for keeping any records you are legally required to maintain.
